A puzzle-action game reminiscent of Donkey Kong for the Game Boy.
In Mario vs. Donkey Kong you play as Mario, and must get through a nice
assortment of puzzle-type levels to get the mini-mario toys DK has
stolen.
Each level will have a key you must get, and bring to a locked door.
This is easier said than done. There will be enemies, and a large
assortment of platforms and obstacles you must figure out how to get
by. There are also sometimes 3 coloured switches,
which you can hit to make certain blocks appear and disappear. Mario
also has some nice jump moves, such as a hand-stand jump.
After you beat the game, you start a second game, with new puzzles and
a catch for each level. This time you have to guide mini-mario toys to
the door.
