The one that started it all, the game that saved the gaming industry, saved a console, and revolutionized the way we play games with a new genre that was used for years afterward.

Super Mario Bros. or SMB for short, is a sidescrolling action game. You will go across a variety of levels, jumping over holes, jumping to and from all kinds of platforms, some move left and right, some move up and down, some just fall down, others stay still. There will be a decent selection of enemies, such as Goombas and Koopas who just walk toward you, Paratroopas who fly in the air, bullets which come flying at you, and a few others.
There are some variety of level-types to mix up the gameplay. Some above ground, some below. Some water levels where the physics change, and castle levels with lava, spinning fire rods, and Bowser!.

This game started it all, and is one of the most recognized games of all time. If you haven't played this game on one of its many ports, you gotta try it.
