This is the version of SMB2 the rest of the word besides Japan
got. It was another game in Japan, but Nintendo took the game, and
changed the characters to Mario Characters.
In this 2d sidescroller, you go through a variety of characters. You
also get to decide between 4 characters, Mario, Luigi, Toad, and the
Princess.
Each plays a little different. The game is quite different than SMB1.
Completely new enemies and environments.
The game sold pretty well, and is a pretty fun game. Nintendo may have
just bought this game, but they made a good decision of which game to
buy.
